Dione is an avid lover of orchestral and electronic music who has played the flute and piano since her school days.

Having initially graduated with a degree in Accountancy, Dione later discovered her passion lay in music composition and sound design for film and TV.

In 2008 she commenced her music degree at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, majoring in Electronic Production and Design.

During her studies she was awarded the Roland Award for music technology as well as a composition award for an orchestral piece written for the Mill Valley Philharmonic Orchestra.

Upon graduating from Berklee with a Bachelor in Music with honors, Dione worked on projects in the US, London and Asia, with clients who included Christian Dior, Mercedes Benz and the Royal Opera House, London.

She was Music Director for the children’s musical ‘Rapunzel’ at the Singapore Repertory Theatre in April 2013 and after a 12 month stint freelancing at Song Zu she joined us full time in May 2013.




An extremely accomplished bass player, producer and composer, Lindsay has worked all over the world, including a decade in London and the US for top music houses Human, Amber Music and Baron and Baron.

His work has featured on Cannes, AICP and One Show award winners and includes a Ridley Scott directed Barclays Bank TVC, Baileys , Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Mastercard, Adidas, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, Miller, Nike and Pepsi to name a few.

Lindsay re-mixed Gershon Kingsley’s Popcorn for the Beastie Boys, I Feel Love for the Blue Man Group and did an X Files movie re-mix for Larry Mullen Jnr and Adam Clayton. His co-writing credits include work with David Gamson ( Scritti Politti, Meshell Ndegeocello, Chaka Khan), Eric Sanicola (Pink, Jennifer Lopez), Sidh Solanki ( Kaiser Chiefs, Sugarcult) and David Baron (Lenny Kravitz)

Lindsay became a partner in Song Zu in 2008




Gerard is a classically trained composer with an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts (mastering in Jazz Piano) from Adelaide University.

After performing live extensively in the early nineties with many Australian artists he joined Song Zu in 1993, moving to Song Zu Singapore in 1997 where he became Creative Director in 2001.

In August 2003 he became a partner of the Song Zu Group.

During this time, Gerard has composed, orchestrated and conducted numerous works for International advertising campaigns including Singapore Airlines, Mercedes F1, Sony and the music for the stage production of Pan.

His advertising awards include London International, New York Festival, AWARD Award and CCAs.

Film credits include the documentaries Marco Polo and The Adventures of Zheng He, both of which earned him an Asian Television Award for Best Original Music.




Having played the guitar since a very young age, Ben was then drawn towards tinkering with music on computers, and has since been fascinated with the world of music technology and production.

Ben has worked internationally on various projects including games, commercials, and TV shows. He has remixed for Kimbra, and has collaborated with Grammy and ARIA award winning producer, M-Phazes. Recent music accomplishments include contributing production to three tracks on the #1 ARIA charting album from Illy, Two Degrees, and having his own track Comets placed in a trailer for the 2016 Ridley Scott produced film Equals.

Since joining Song Zu in 2014, he has written music for brands such as Optus, Heineken, Uncle Tobys, Fox Sports and Virgin.

Ben also continues to write and release his own material, and collaborates with songwriters and producers.




With an uncanny ability to weave music out of anything from empty yoghurt cups to a blazing triple wind orchestra, Adrian has quickly established himself as one of Australia’s most exciting, talented, and versatile composers.

His film credits include The 11 O’Clock, which was nominated for Best Live Action Short at the 90th Academy Awards, and his formidable score for Screen Australia’s Lost and Found has generated praise around the globe. His work on 35 Letters earned him a nomination for Best Music for a Documentary at the 2015 APRA Screen Music Awards, and his score for Observance helped make it a cult horror favourite.

Adrian’s commercial work has been recognised internationally, with his score for Shell’s “Real Destinations” picking up a Silver Gong at the 2015 Creative Circle awards. His score for Coca Cola’s “Small World Machines” became a viral sensation and earned him a nomination at the APRA SMA’s for Best Advertising Soundtrack in 2013. 

His vibrant and accomplished compositional style has been featured on a myriad of high profile brands, most notably Singapore Airline’s “Making Every Journey Possible”, Air BnB’s “A Different Paris”, and Tiger Beer’s “The Letter” to name a few.




Nathan made his first CD at age 8 and by age 12 he was signed to MJJ Sony in the US. A gifted player, composer and producer, Nathan has worked with the cream of the world’s music industry including BB King, Michael Jackson, Bonny Raitt, Dr John, Booker T, Albert Collins, Diesel, and Jimmy Barnes, to name a few.

From 1994 to 2000 Nathan lived and worked in L.A. touring worldwide and co-writing with such luminaries as Charlie Midnight (James Brown, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera) and Steve Diamond (Eric Clapton, Tina Turner, Elton John).

Over the last ten years, Nathan shifted from the stage to the studio where he has focused most of his creativity toward producing and writing for various artists, as well as composition work for Song Zu.

His worldly experience in the music industry allows Nathan to be passionately versatile and creatively intuitive. A recent campaign for Coca Cola featured his version of Wham’s Wake Me Up and his score for Bundaberg Rum’s Men Like Us took out Gold for Original Music at the 2014 AWARD Awards, Adfest, CCA Awards and recently at the Cannes Lions Awards 2015




Haydn Walker is a multi-award winning Senior Composer at Song Zu. Possessing the rare talent of being highly skilled at both classical and contemporary music styles, Haydn is constantly sought out by some of the brightest minds in the industry.

As a teenager, Haydn studied jazz guitar and film composition at the Australian Institute of Music. He then completed a Bachelor of Music (Composition) at the Sydney Conservatorium, graduating with First Class Honours.

In addition to his classical training, Haydn has enjoyed an incredibly successful career as a working jazz and rock guitarist. He has written songs, arranged and/or performed with various prominent Australian acts including Grinspoon, The Potbelleez, Darren Hayes, Inga Liljestrom, Archie Roach, Andy Bull and Katie Noonan.

In his 8 years with the Song Zu, Haydn has enjoyed a formidable run of awards and accolades for his original scores for film, TV and advertising. He has won several APRA Screen Composer Awards, including Best Television Theme for Nickelodeon Scariacs and Best Music for the Nurtrilon ad Hope. He was part of the team nominated for Best Documentary Soundtrack for 35 Letters (Sydney Film Festival Best Documentary winner). His feature film score to the IF award winning Men’s Group was also nominated for Best Film Score.

Haydn’s compositional versatility is evident in the countless advertising campaigns he has written for, such as Singapore Airlines, Qantas, Lexus, Samsung, Telstra and Coca Cola, many of which have been awarded both locally and abroad.




Ramesh Sathiah is Partner and Creative Director of Song Zu, one of the most awarded and established music and sound design companies in the Asia Pacific region. 

Starting in the music industry in recording studios as an engineer and producer, Ramesh was later introduced to the world of screen composing writing for television shows such as Beyond 2000.

In 1996, Ramesh started working for Song Zu Sydney. Within three years and at the age of twenty-five, he was made Creative Director of Song Zu Singapore. His work took him across the globe and he contributed to worldwide and regional campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands.

Since becoming Partner and Creative Director in Sydney, Song Zu has been awarded Australian Creative ‘Hotshop’ winner, LIA Music and Sound Design Company of the year, as well as winning prestigious Gold Clios and a Gold AWARD for Original Music.

Ramesh has also been a part of the judging panel for many international award shows, including Jury President for Music and Sound for LIA, as well as a jury member for Clio and AWARD. He has also been a guest speaker at Adfest, Promax and Designyatra.
